Welcome to my world of piano music!

I am a classical pianist, originally from Russia (where I did my early piano education), currently living in Brisbane, Australia. As a child I lived in a room with my entire family, in communal apartments. The piano I played belonged to my mum, who (to save time and the neighbours’ patience) would show me which keys to press to get the tune I wanted. Eventually I had my own room, with the piano safely in it 😉

In my teaching, I would like to pass on not only the passion for piano I have developed, but also the importance of discipline, respect for music, and the capabilities of the piano that I have acquired in my early studies of the Russian system and my further exploration of music teaching theories as an adult.

With 15 years of teaching experience in various disciplines, I cater to my students’ background, goals, and potential.
